WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS
Membership with the Atlanta REALTORS® Association means being a part of the state's largest and most active real estate association. Membership means continuing the more than 100 years of involvement in the development of the real estate industry and the Metro Atlanta area. Membership provides a purpose, vision, and mission to promote and protect the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement and a means of defending the American dream of home ownership and private property rights. Nationally recognized, members of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association aim higher, gain more and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.
ARE YOU REPRESENTING YOUR INDUSTRY AS A REALTOR®?
A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When joining the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® is gained.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES & FEES
In order to join the Association, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. ARA's fiscal cycle runs October 1 - September 30, while GAR's and NAR's fiscal cycles are based on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
New REALTOR® members will pay a $70 application fee in addition to the annual fee listed below.
If you are a REALTOR® type applicant and you're applying for primary membership with the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, you have the ability to participate in a new member payment plan. Your 1st installment will include the $70 application fee + ⅓ of the pro-rated dues amount. Each subsequent installment will be ½ of the remaining balance and will be charged (30) days from your 1st installment date. Enrollment details are located in the payment section of the online application.
REALTOR® Member

A REALTOR® is defined as an individual who holds an active real estate or appraiser's license.
REALTORS® also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
